GA Series - Direct Drive Fixed Speed Screw Compressors

VARIABLE SPEED DRIVE (VSD) SCREW COMPRESSOR
Atlas Copco's air compressor with Variable Speed Drive (VSD) automatically adjusts the compressor’s operating speed to match production of compressed air to demand in real time.

REFRIDGERANT AIR DRYER
The Atlas Copco refrigerant dryers keep your compressed air system in optimal shape, removing humidity efficiently and reliably. With a stable pressure dewpoint as low as 7 °C, these compact, low maintenance dryers are compatible with most compressor technologies and applications.

AIR FILTERS
By removing contaminants from the air stream, Atlas Copco's air filter can significantly lower operating costs, ensure that even the most stringent air purity standards are met and extend the service life of air systems and pneumatic equipment.

NITROGEN GENERATORS
Atlas Copco's membrane nitrogen generator extracts the N₂ in the air supplied by a compressor so that it can be used for professional applications. The compressed air is pushed through a membrane filled with hollow fibers. Oxygen and water vapor dissipate through the fiber walls and are vented out. This leaves only the very dry nitrogen inside the fibers, pushed out on the other end of the membrane, ready for you to use.

OXYGEN GENERATORS
Atlas Copco’s range of oxygen generators offers a comprehensive and efficient solution for on-site oxygen production, catering to various industrial, medical, and other applications. Here are the key features and benefits of their oxygen generators:
Technology and Operation
Atlas Copco’s oxygen generators utilize advanced Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) technology, as well as Vacuum Pressure Swing Adsorption (VPSA) and Vacuum Swing Adsorption (VSA) technologies in some models.
1. PSA Technology: This involves two separate pressure vessels filled with zeolite molecular sieve (ZMS) material. One vessel produces oxygen while the other regenerates its saturated ZMS, ensuring a continuous supply of oxygen.
2. VPSA and VSA: These technologies use a blower to feed air into the generator and a vacuum pump for regeneration. VPSA operates at higher blower pressures, allowing for higher oxygen pressure delivery, while VSA is used for lower purity applications.
Key Features
1. Oxygen Purity: Atlas Copco oxygen generators can produce oxygen with purity levels of 90%, 93%, and 95%, depending on the model and application.
2. Flow Rates and Pressure: The generators offer a range of flow rates and pressures, such as 8.0 to 42.4 SCFH (Standard Cubic Feet per Hour) and pressures up to 5 bar (72.5 PSIG).
3. Energy Efficiency: The OGP+ series, for example, features a 30% efficiency increase at full load and up to 70% additional energy savings at low load through the Variable Cycle Saver (VCS) technology.
4. Compact Design: These generators are designed to be space-efficient, with some models integrated into a single, space-saving cabinet with casters for easy transport and installation.

CONDENSATE TREATMENT
Atlas Copco’s condensate treatment products are designed to ensure the efficient, safe, and environmentally responsible management of condensate in compressed air systems. Here are the key features and benefits of their condensate treatment solutions:
Aftercoolers and Condensate Management
1. Aftercoolers: All Atlas Copco compressors come equipped with aftercoolers that cool the compressed air, converting up to 70% of the humidity into water, which is then immediately drained. Additional air-cooled and water-cooled aftercoolers (HD and TD series) are available for facilities with high ambient temperatures, ensuring minimal pressure drop and high cooling efficiency.
2. Drains -Automatic, Electronic, and Timer Drains
Atlas Copco offers a range of drains, including WD, EWD, IWD, and TWD models. These drains are designed to automatically or electronically monitor and remove condensate build-up, preventing water from causing corrosion and damage in the compressed air system. The EWD and IWD electronic drains are particularly efficient, as they only release condensate when necessary, avoiding compressed air loss.
